Went in today at 10am approximately.asked for 8 rolls.the young woman behind the counter, who had just served a customer and handled money, picked up my rolls with her hands.I asked her if she had heard of the corona virus scare and she said she had,so I asked her if she was going to wash her hands and she looked at me as if I was daft and said she couldn't wash her hands after every service.so I said why couldn't she use tongs and she said incredulously, use tongs to pick up rolls?she then said fisher and Donaldson had been in existence for 100 years and they never used tongs.her attitude was very bad and although she wasn't shouting,I could see she shouldn't be serving customers.needless to say,I declined the rolls and got them from Tescos, where tongs are provided. Is this Fisher and Donaldson approach to basic hygiene in normal times, apart from the corona virus being around us?.
