Gearbox repair from tayside. 3rd gear noisy. Fixed by Tayside. Was noted sticky going into gear by Lee. Phoned no call back. Eventually speak to Lee . Take out box and and return it. Ok. £120. Mechanics say gearbox has never been removed. ! May account for thick sludge oil which was noted. Months later had to get box back as excuses were pathetic. Admitted box was not removed from vehicle at the repair stage. Peugeot and other mechanics stated this box cannot be repaired unless on bench. Sent box to re engineered in Romford Essex . Complete rebuild . £1840. Did wait afew weeks as parts from Peugeot are on back order. Thanks Tayside you returned £400 from the money we paid you. You cost us around £3,000. Experts ? ? I will leave that upto anyone who reads this. Service, communication ,customer friendly all lacking. Our mistake choosing you a costly mistake . Tayside diagnosed the problem , you carried out the so called work. You cost us a new gearbox extremely dissastisfied. Will be intouch..
