"Record breaking !"

A review of St Columba's RC Primary School by Alexander Stewart written on Sunday 25th of February 2018

Hi I attended the school from Pr 2 to Pr 7,Left in 1966, remember Mr Quinn and a Mrs Stephenson, played for the football team and { it would be great if someone could verify this}, We played in Blue and yellow squared shirts, the picture of this team used to hang on the wall outside the headmaster's office, the reason for this is, that team, in the last week of school Won 3 trophies in 1 week, games played on Mon,Wed and Friday of that very same week, I don't know what order, but the trophies were the Rock cup, the Sports cup and I think the Meikelham Cup. to the best of my knowledge. I was just interested to see if this endeavour has ever been repeated, Thanks !.
