"Unreliable, a big lie from the biggining"

We have booked accommodation for 12 people and have been told there's no need for a deposit as we are Sri Lankans. It's been a months every time we contacted Dudley, he confirmed the booking and discourage us to pay the deposit saying there no need you can just come and pay for the rooms you use. We were so naive and believed him. We are all set up for our holiday in Dundee. Yesterday when we called Dudley, we have been told there's no booking and asked us to find somewhere else. How does this business work with such rude and unreliable people! He hasn't got a decency to tell us when we booked it first? What sort of person is he?.
